The Mutual Benefits Program is committed to supporting research and investing in training and programs to inform workplaces on the latest in mental health best practice. We offer a range of psychological, psychosocial and work health safety and wellbeing training sessions to help you meet your legislative requirements.

Psychosocial Safety Compliance: Practical Application of Legislative Requirements

Ideal for Health, Safety and HR professionals, this session covers risk management, regulatory requirements, and practical applications to prevent workplace injuries resulting from psychosocial hazards. Learn from global and Australian standards to enhance your workplace mental health strategy.

Mental Health First Aid

This 2-day workshop in Melbourne Victoria, provides participants with the essential skills to provide Mental Health First Aid in the workplace with participants receiving accreditation as a Mental Health First Aider through Mental Health First Aid Australia.

Mentally Healthy Workplaces for Executives

This workshop equips executives and leaders with strategies to manage stress, prevent burnout, navigate decision fatigue, and foster workplace wellbeing—ensuring sustainable leadership while addressing challenges like moral injury and loneliness.

Research & Innovation

Our Mutual Benefits Program provides a range of tools and resources to employers and workers to prevent, or manage the impact of psychological conditions within the workplace.

Occupational Violence and Aggression

We understand that many workers (particularly in the aged care and retail sectors) have experienced some degree of violence and aggression in their careers. We offer a range of resources, services and partnerships to help you manage this challenging area of workpalce risk.

PTSD in Emergency Services

We have partnered with thought leaders to undertake research and produce resources which workers and clinicians to help protect emergency service workers from the impacts of post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

Online tools to simplify the monitoring and management of workplace health and safety.

Steering Healthy Minds

In September 2022, EML Group announced a partnership with SHM through the Mutual Benefits program, providing funding to expand the offering nationally to deliver industry-leading preventative mental health solutions for the transport industry. 

MATES in Construction

EML Group partner with MATES as part of our ongoing commitment to promote mental health and wellbeing in the workplace and creating a supportive environment for all workers. Funding through the Mutual Benefits Program will enable MATES to boost its on-site support and training in New South Wales by deploying two new Field Officers.
