Chris’s life changed in an instant when he was involved in a serious car accident while on the job as an arborist. He suffered multiple injuries and had to undergo numerous surgeries – it was a long road to recovery. Chris talks about the support he received from his colleagues, his family and his mobile case manager, Robyn, to get back to work and adjust to a new normal as a mainly office-based worker.
Chris’s determination to recover was formally recognised when WorkSafe Victoria awarded him the Worker Return to Work Achievement Award.
