Built on experience and expertise
Developed in consultation with transitional change experts, Lysander, and informed by industry collaboration with partners MATES in Construction – the toolkit responds to the real and evolving pressures faced across the construction sector. This ensures practical, evidence-based solutions that genuinely support workers’ mental health and safety on site.
At MATES, we know that mental health is a workplace safety issue in construction, and preventing harm starts with practical, on-site conversations about the psychosocial risks our workers face every day. Programs like these not only help reduce risk, they increase awareness of the support available, including the 24/7 MATES Helpline for construction workers and their families.

Why it is so important.
