In his role of Group Executive, Strategy & Growth, Dan brings deep expertise across government, unions and industry. As former National Secretary of the Australian Workers Union, Dan advised on national policy across energy, trade, manufacturing and industrial relations, and has extensive experience in the superannuation sector. He applies this strategic leadership to drive innovation and long-term growth across EML’s personal injury and workplace support services.

David cares deeply about transforming the claims management experience and building strong, lasting relationships with clients and partners. With a proven track record managing major portfolios for icare NSW and WorkSafe Victoria, he consistently delivers outstanding results, backed by 20 years of industry expertise and a Master of Management in Personal Injury.

With 20 years of experience in personal injury and a chiropractic qualification, Breanna has hands-on expertise in early intervention, rehabilitation, and working with OHS and return-to-work teams. Supporting state-based self insured businesses across Australia, Breanna brings deep insight into injury prevention and recovery, with a strong focus on improving the customer experience.

Lauren has over 17 years of experience in personal injury, client engagement and relationship management across Australia and the UK. With a background in occupational therapy, business administration, and insurance broking, she now leads our marketing and communication strategy, using her experience to drive EML’s growth.

With over 10 years of experience as a Microsoft consultant and a specialist in IT security, Shane leads the development of EML’s innovative AI and claims management systems, ensuring our operations seamlessly support injured workers and employers while driving business-wide efficiency.

Letizia brings extensive HR experience, driven by her passion for building thriving workplaces across industries like personal injury, financial services, and aviation. She has played a key role in creating the award-winning, supportive culture EML is known for, where our team members feel valued, engaged and empowered to deliver their best work and help people get their lives back.

Katie leads our teams’ managing claims for NSW’s largest employers. With a unique mix of legal, financial and insurance know-how, she’s committed to driving change across the insurance industry and delivering better results for the people it serves.

With 15+ years in workers compensation and a background in medical research, Rick combines his scientific expertise with hands-on experience in claims management to lead EML's growing operations in Victoria. He oversees a team of 500 across Melbourne and Geelong, improving outcomes for injured workers and employers across the state.

Ken has been Chief Financial Officer since November 2025, returning to EML after nearly three years with Liberty Specialty Markets. He brings over 20 years experience within the insurance and personal injury sectors. He leads the financial strategy, performance and governance across the group, working closely with executive leadership to provide commercial insight and support disciplined decision-making. Ken’s focus is on building a resilient, technology-enabled finance function that supports sustainable growth.

With a background in Sports & Exercise Science, Deborah combines a caring, people-first focus with over 18 years of experience in rehabilitation consulting, personal injury, and insurance. Leading our Hospitality Industry Insurance (HII) and Trinity Insurance solutions, she heads a 150-strong team helping injured workers recover, delivering industry-leading return-to-work outcomes for both workers and employers.

Matt brings almost 25 years of experience in the personal injury sector, with roles at Coal Services, WorkCover NSW, GIO, and Allianz. He’s dedicated to delivering exceptional service to small and medium businesses and specialty claims, recognising the crucial role our claims teams play in achieving positive outcomes for injured workers and employers.

With 37 years of claims experience in workers compensation and CTP, Susan has a proven track record in growing and maintaining high performing claims operations.  Her reputation for delivery in Government was critical to launch the successful ACT Government partnership which has delivered over $130M in performance improvement and established EML and 70 new roles in the ACT.

Jarrad leads EML’s South Australian team, supporting injured workers and employers across the state. Having worked through scheme, process and policy design at ReturntoWorkSA and experience running business and building workplace culture, Jarrad has a deep understanding of workplace health and safety and what it takes to help businesses stay safe and compliant.

Cass is General Manager, Insurance Solutions at EML, with accountability for claims operations and growth across superannuation, CTP and accident and health portfolios. With over 20 years’ experience in personal injury insurance, her expertise spans claims operations, regulation, partnerships, strategy and risk. Cass specialises in navigating complex regulatory environments and improving claims performance and customer outcomes through best-practice claims handling. She holds an MBA from the University of Queensland, is a GAICD and an ASIC Responsible Manager.

Matthew has been EML’s Chief Risk Officer since 2006. As an experienced corporate lawyer and risk manager in the Australian insurance and financial services sector, he oversees our governance and risk practice to protect our business, our employer clients and our injured customers.

With over two decades of experience in personal injury management, Simone Witschge leads the ground-breaking Mutual Benefits Program, dedicated to driving innovation from prevention to recovery. Simone plays a pivotal role in shaping the Program’s strategy and investments. She leads a dynamic team and partners with internal stakeholders and industry leaders to proactively tackle risks, overcome challenges, and deliver impactful solutions that enhance the wellbeing of members, customers, and communities.

Simon began his career in personal injury in 2012 and brings a legal background alongside extensive experience across both operational and shared services leadership. Since joining EML in 2014, he has developed a reputation for his entrepreneurial mindset and ability to build strong stakeholder relationships at every level of the business. Passionate about driving collaboration, efficiency and innovation, Simon now leads core business functions that ensure EML’s people are supported to deliver the best outcomes for our customers.

Amber has over 20 years’ experience in the personal injury sector, spanning workers compensation, accident and health, life insurance, and CTP. With 15 years in senior leadership roles at EML, she is known for empowering teams to support recovery and deliver strong outcomes in complex claims portfolios. In 2025, Amber continues to lead major transitions across Life and Casualty, including the Catholic Church Insurance Workers Compensation portfolio, while driving innovation and improved outcomes for customers and communities.

Laura is a respected leader within EML, bringing more than 15 years’ experience in workers compensation, underpinned by a strong claims and technical background and extensive national relationships. Since joining in 2021 as State Relationship Manager, NSW, she has led significant change and now leads national broker distribution, relationship and account management across EML’s core workers compensation markets.
