Judgemental Podcast: Season 3 Launch

They’re back — and this time, they’re recording live in a bar.

Season 3 of Judgemental has officially launched, with psychologist Kate Connors and lawyer Greg Smith returning for more sharp wit, deeper dives and fearless debate.

Recorded in front of a live audience in Melbourne, the launch of this season brings fresh energy, unfiltered conversation and plenty of judgement on the very complex environment of psychosocial risk management.

This season opens with a timely deep dive into Victoria’s new psychosocial health regulations, assessing how workplaces are tracking three months after the laws came into effect on 1 December 2025.

Kate and Greg are joined by Catherine Jeffries, Director of Health, Safety & Wellbeing at Monash Health, who brings real‑world perspective to the conversation. Drawing on her experience leading psychosocial risk management across one of Victoria’s largest and most complex health organisations, the team discuss practical insights into what effective implementation looks like within the state’s evolving regulatory landscape and what it takes to drive meaningful change at scale.

EML’s ongoing support of Judgemental reflects a rare commitment to recognising that psychosocial risk can’t be reduced to checklists or compliance alone. Psychosocial risk isn’t simple or theoretical—it’s complex, contextual, and deeply human. As we head into our third series, Greg and I look forward to continuing to create a space that embraces complexity, challenges assumptions, and delivers practical insights to make a real difference for Australian workplaces— with a focus on also creating fun and laughter along the way. – Kate Connors, Clinical Psychologist and Co-host of Judgemental
