Mobile case management in focus

Operating in metro and regional communities across NSW, Victoria and South Australia, our mobile case managers actively support workers through the claims process.

They collaborate with employers and treating providers to achieve upgrades in capacity, expedite treatment approvals and facilitate practical return to work plans.

A gamechanger for recovery

Mobile case managers can leverage their established relationships with treatment providers and specialists in their geographical area to expedite workers’ access to treatment.

Improving access to treatment

They can make on-the-spot treatment and investigation approvals during appointments and reduce other typical claim delays by obtaining documents directly.

Personalising care

Mobile case managers can identify when the expertise of a workplace rehabilitation provider is needed and will request specific services from them.

Leading the way across Australia

We first introduced mobile case managers in South Australia in 2015, and then in Victoria in 2016. In both jurisdictions, mobile case management is embedded into our claims management model, having demonstrated the benefits of face-to-face intervention on personal injury claims.

In 2021, we expanded the successful mobile model to support employers and injured workers in the growing NSW portfolio, backed by over $2.5M in funding from the Mutual Benefits Program. In 2023, with the measurable benefits for both employers and workers established, we made a commitment to expand the team to ensure that we could provide services for more NSW employers.
