icare reappoints EML to manage NSW government worker claims

Insurance and Care NSW (icare) has reappointed EML to manage workers compensation claims for the Treasury Managed Fund (TMF) for the next three years. This appointment is subject to contract execution.

"We have been proud to work alongside icare and our government agency partners for more than a decade. Together we’ve served NSW public sector workers and their families whose lives are impacted by workplace injury,” EML Chief Operating Officer Tracey Harris said.

EML is one of four claims managers appointed to provide services for the TMF workers compensation portfolio.

We welcome this endorsement of EML’s claims management expertise. We are committed to helping people get their lives back after workplace injury, and through our program we invest in research and programs that are making workplaces safer,” Ms Harris said.

This reappointment is one of a string of endorsements for EML’s personal injury claims management services. EML’s Michele Casci was awarded a Lifetime Achievement award at the recent icare Care and Service Excellence (CASE) Awards, and our Presumptive Legislation team working with Fire and Rescue NSW was a Finalist for Outstanding Team.

“Our sustained commitment to delivering improvements and positive outcomes for the workers compensation industry underpins these successes,” Ms Harris said.

The new contract begins on January 1, 2020.
