When someone suffers from a work-related psychological injury, EML is there to meet the complex challenge with empathy and an evidence-based approach. Our focus is on helping people recover their mental health and supporting them to remain at, or return to work.

Psychological injuries often have a considerable impact on injured workers and their families. The cost to the Australian workplace is also significant, with an estimated $11 billion impact on Australian workplaces. The root causes of psychological injury, and pathways to to recovery, are complex.

Our approach has been shaped by the research programs of our academic and industry partners and is funded in part by EML's Member Benefits program.
