Get Health At Work Seminar - Thursday 13 April 2017

EML invites you to join us on Thursday 13 April at the EML Sydney office to hear more about Get Healthy at Work, and what you can do to implement a health program in your workplace.

Did you know that the healthiest Australian employees are three times more productive at work than their unhealthy colleagues?Being healthy at work can make a big difference to the way staff work together, engage in their jobs, and enjoy their work.

In the long-term this means higher productivity, less accidents, reduced absence, and better staff retention. So for your business this could also mean lower worker’s compensation costs.

That’s why at EML we have joined the Get Healthy at Work program.

Get Healthy at Work is a free initiative from NSW Government to help achieve a healthier workforce by addressing the individual, behavioural and workplace factors that lead to poor health among workers.

More details about this amazing free program

No matter what industry you’re in or the size of your workplace, the Get Healthy at Work Workplace Health Program provides all the tools, templates and resources you need to implement an easy and effective workplace health program.

The free program includes Brief Health Checks for workers, available online or by a Health Professional at your workplace. These 15-minute confidential checks offer immediate feedback to your workers and can indicate to you their overall health so that you know how which issues – whether they be diet, physical activity, smoking or more – would be best to address through your workplace health program.

As strong advocates of this program, and participants ourselves EML invite you to join us on Thursday 13 April at the EML Sydney office to hear more about Get Healthy at Work, and what you can do to implement a health program in your workplace.

In this workshop you will come away with:

  • An action plan for implementing a workplace health program
  • An understanding of the real benefits of workplace health implementation
  • Being even closer to being able to access up to $10,310 in Action Bonus

Even if you’re not the individual responsible for implementing employee programs, why not forward this to your senior leader, HR leader, Health & Safety or middle management, and come along to the event to find out how your business can make healthy the norm!
