Mark Coyne, CEO EML today announced the launch of its first insurance broker app and online portal, giving brokers and EML customers convenient access to their workers insurance policies.

Available now online or as an app via the Apple store or Google Play, EMpower gives brokers and customers with policies in NSW 24/7 access to:

  • View policy and claims information
  • Lodge injury notifications
  • Update their policy information
  • Download a Certificate of Currency on demand
  • View premium projections
  • Request quotes
  • Renew policies.

Marc Diffey, Employers Mutual’s Chief Information Officer, said that brokers often find it difficult to obtain timely information for their clients and were looking for real time functionality for updating client policies.

“That’s why we continue to work closely with our broker networks and customers, integrating their feedback into the design process to ensure we are providing them with the right solutions to access to their business critical data,” said Mr Diffey.

“Response from brokers who participated in the extensive product trials has been overwhelmingly positive, with one broker noting how convenient it was to receive a Certificate of Currency for their client instantaneously. It’s these features which make a big difference to the efficiency gains our customers are seeking, and what motivates us to find ways to help our customers do more,” added Mr Diffey.
