ANZIIF - Australian Insurance Industry Awards 2016
EML was strongly represented at the prestigious Australian Insurance Industry Awards held Wednesday 31 August 2016. EML was as a finalist in the category, Innovation of the Year, along with Hospitality Employers Mutual as a finalist in the Best Small - Medium General Insurer of the Year.
According to Rachel Elmes, General Manager Operations for TMF, “it was an honour to be a finalist for the innovative work to develop Guidelines for Diagnosis and Treatment of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder in Emergency Service Workers Excellence”.
“With an estimated 8,000 emergency service workers suffering from PTSD we were honoured to work with the Black Dog Institute, medical professionals and importantly Emergency Services to develop these world first guidelines”, said Ms Elmes.
Hospitality Chief Executive David Brown also thanked the Institute and Judging panel for recognising the achievements, and acknowledging the high performing Hospitality team.
The Australian Insurance Industry Awards is the insurance industry's annual celebration of excellence, professionalism and community. Co-hosted by the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF) and Asia Insurance Review, the Awards are now in their thirteenth year.
